When looking at the magazine advertisement for my music video, I would like it to tie into my digipak. To do this, I intend to use similar/the same images editing and layout for it. This is a technique used in advertisements for a lot of music videos in this genre. I have drawn and labelled the idea I had for the advertisement.
Like the digipak, it shows the couple driving into chaos. They are seen in a car, which is shown in the music video, drying to 'Hollywood'. However, dimming the glamour of Hollywood is the layers of drugs and mess which overlays the view. On top of this is the titles. I think that the titles hold a big message as the show that the whole thing is being documented and caught on camera. This is firstly because the couple are famous and the collapsing of there relationship is in the public eye, but also because the video itself is very handheld and documented in a vhs/home video style.
