After pitching my ideas to an audience and reviewing the feedback, I decided to go for idea 2 for my final product. Idea 3 was to the indie pop song 'Video Games' by Lana Del Ray. I think that this idea is very original, however it will be very challenging to carry out. A lot of the research I have done into my genre of music video, gives strong inspiration for this idea. For example, Lana Del Ray's 'Blue Jeans' and Jorja Smith's 'Teenage Fantasy'. This song is very slow and quite emotional/ I think that this would be appropriate with the Idea 3 storyline as it is quite a sensitive subject. The fast/short shots I intend to use in my music video will contrast this style, however I think it will fit. Something very important in the indie pop genre is that the lyrics relate to the video narrative and shots involved. Therefore, the fact that the lyrics in the song relate to the idea 3 narrative is very important.
