Production - Filming day 3 actors costumes

On the third filming day, the coupes costumes were something I took into high consideration.  I wanted to two to loo fashionable and different; like icons.  However, I also wanted a balance of casual, everyday middle class people to remain.  I also wanted there clothes to remain holding representation.
Female

  • The female on this day wore a long camel, macintosh.  This represented a form of class, which came from their fame.  I also thought that the light colouring of the coat could be used to represent the females innocence.  It is slightly off white, which represents the innocence fading away.  This idea is complimented by the fact that the female is smoking.  The simplistic coat contrasts with the males patterned top.  This shows that there is a lot more to the male, in comparison to the female.
Male

  • The males attire on this day was a stripped top.  Stripped tops are generally associated with France, which is well known as a land of love.  This represents the love between the two.  The top is also less simplistic then the females attire, which represents the idea that there is more to the male than the female.
  • In another shot the male wears a puffer coat.  This is navy, and increases the size of the male.  This is representative of the males power and control.
